  • What Should I Wear?
    Not sure what to wear?  We are more concerned about you than what you are wearing. Come however you are most comfortable. People wear jeans, shorts and sandals, business casual and a few people even wear suits. Again, clothes really don’t matter to us. You matter.

  • What is Worship Like?
    We like to think of our worship times as celebrations!  We love exciting music and practical teaching. Nobody likes music that is depressing and preaching that is boring. We promise…at Destiny Church you won’t get either. We like expressive, biblical forms of worship so you’ll see people raising their hands, singing out loud, sitting, standing, … and maybe even some people leaping with excitement! Our worship times include music, teaching, giving, prayer and periodically, communion. We celebrate communion every few months as God directs our worship leaders. These times are usually shared with the church in advance.

    We like to use a variety of media to express the beautiful God-story to our worshippers.  And we love the arts, so there may be times when you will see someone painting or worshipping with flags (banners) during a celebration.

  • What About My Children?
    We have full children’s programs for children ages 6 weeks-6th grade which operate simultaneously with our adult service. There is a secure check-in at each location with staff who are CPR certified. All of our volunteers have submitted to a security screening (background check).

    Checking In Your Child
    For first-time guests, you will check in your child at our Children’s Welcome Desk. It is a simple process of getting your contact information and ID tags for your kids.

DURING THE WEEK

We meet at different times for Bible study/fellowship in Small Groups. These groups meet at varied locations/times.  Elevate Students also meet on Wednesdays at 6:30pm at Destiny Church. If we’ve missed something on this list, just drop us an email at info@ourdestinychurch.com or ask one of the greeters on our First Impressions team when you arrive. Our goal is to make you feel right at home from the first time you visit.
